"Quality Skin Care When Dealing With Cancer, Chemotherapy, Radiation & After Treatment"
BACKGROUND:
Originally, it was thought that Vitamin E in a specific ratio with Salicylic Acid would produce both antioxidant and Keratoplastic activity. Theoretically, this would create an increase in fibroblastic motility thereby creating a faster, more pronounced proliferation of new epithelial cells, as well as spurring a more rapid production of tropo-collagen. This is now a proven entity.
More impotantly, in the presence of this compound an additional finding was the in situ increase in endogenous zinc in the wound. Zinc, is a well known healing agent.
