Molecular Distillation
Molecular Distillation has been proven to be the best method of refining Emu Oil. This method ensures optimimum quality, safety and purity of the Emu Oil.

Many consumers are confused about which Oil to buy...which Emu Oil is the safest and why some companies are using a "logo" on their Oil stating that the Oil is "certified". What does this mean? Certified by whom? How do you know you are getting safe, pure Emu Oil? It is all about trust. First earning it and then keeping it. Molecular Distillation ensures that trust.

Recently, a private study was conducted comparing "traditionally refined" Emu Oil with Emu Oil that had been Molecularly Distilled. The study concluded that, even though some Emu Oil on the market carries a "certified" seal, you cannot be assured that the particular Emu Oil meets industry standards. Some Emu Oil exceeds the industry's Trade Rules for the level of Peroxides and Moisture Content. Using the Molecular Distillation Process, impurities and other undesirable ingredients were extracted from these same Oils included in the study. These products wore the "certified" seal, giving the impression of quality assurance.

While we cannot say that all Emu Oil that is not Molecularly Distilled  is bad Oil, we can tell you that many Emu Oils that are traditionally refined, still contain impurities. Why? Because most of the methods for refining used by the Emu Industry are "works in progress". Some Emu Oil companies have not yet discovered or choose not to take advantage of Molecular Distillation. Until these companies understand how this refining process optimizes the consistant, quality, safety and purity of Emu Oil, they will continue to offer Emu Oil that is not "the best that it can be".

Molecularly Distilled Emu Oil is the purest and safest Emu Oil you can buy. In addition to being fully refined to exceed industry standards, the Emu Oil goes through the additional step of being distilled.

Why is this additional step so important to you?

The distillation process removes impurities that cannot be removed by traditional oil refining methods. The traditional method of refining Emu Oil should remove peroxides, bacteria and unwanted particulates. Molecular Distillation removes unwanted moisture, undesirable free fatty acids, any remaining unwanted particulates and bacteria. Molecular Distillation accomplishes all this without compromising the beneficial essential fatty acids (Omega 3 6 9) found in Emu Oil.

According to David Casillio, BSEE from Clarkson University and Masters of Science in Manufacturing Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology, he states,
"to remove odor and not destroy the penetrating properties of emu Oil requires a special distillation process that lowers the  pressure, which therefore lowers the evaporation tempereture. It was found that a high vacuum centrifugal molecular Still gave the best results.

We have learned through advances in technology, that Molecular Distillation is the "future" of Emu Oil in the marketplace. It affords consumers the highest quality, safest and purest Emu Oil available.
"It is a process which removes contaminants without damaging the desirable properties of Emu Oil".
